Throwback Thursday: How did we even get here?
"Socker" was adopted and forgotten nearly six decades before the 1964 team took the field.

On October 3, 1964, the John Carroll men’s soccer team took the field for the first time. The program was comprised of 18 players, four starters who had never played the sport competitively, and was led by the university’s food service manager, Ralph Pica.
